Christmas 2016

Hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone....again.  What a wonderful Christmas.  We are truly spoiled and blessed beyond our needs!

This Christmas the kids won some MasterCard gift cards from their flyer routes.  After about the tenth thing they 'wanted' (2 weeks before Christmas - which was a lesson within itself) we decided that perhaps they could pick names and think about what a sibling may like.  What a wonderful experience both buying and opening.  All the kids had a date night with me, buying their 'secret' gift and then of course a little Starbuck's or Tim's treat afterward.  Super fun!  Then on Christmas Eve, when they opened gifts from us, they first opened their secret gifts.  The look on the 'givers' face was amazing.  They were so excited for the recipient to open.  Abby, watching Brady open his gift.

Christmas morning was spent at Aunt Barbara's.  Then after brunch we came back home.  Grandpa and Grandma came as well and then Opa and Oma joined us too.  Great afternoon.

As for the Timmerman Christmas, my camera battery was dead.  So sad.  It was also a blessed day.  We are so grateful for our families and for this time to spend with each other.  Praying your Christmas was a blessed time and praying for a Happy New Year!
