MOM

3 months, and so much to say, but probably won't get it all out!

To say I miss her is an understatement.  So many days she would check in, give some wise counsel, and many days say that it will all work out.  She would often say slow down, stop working so much - you are going to stress yourself, and you don't need more issues (colitis - stress disease).  She loved each and everyone of us beyond our knowing.  The void, simply said, is real!

When we celebrated Christmas this past year, mom was having an amazing day.  Lots of pictures, hugs, small talks, and 1:1 'I love you's.'  So grateful for this day.

She LOVED dad.  There was no denying that she loved dad with all of her heart!
She loved her grandchildren.  Camping was not her favourite.  But if it meant spending a week with her children and grandchildren, she was in!  Her desired message for them at her funeral - Get Your Act Together - wasn't just because.  She truly wants to see each one of them again in heaven!
Servant.  She was forever helping and serving other people.  Dad and mom spent countless hours dreaming and making that dream come true with their people.
Loving the many people that we (all of her kids) brought into the family was easy.  She treated the many friends and 'new' family members from around the world like her own.
Making memories.  I cherish the many trips throughout the years.  I also cherish being able to talk about and reminisce about these memories in her last days.
Yearly camping tradition...taking a picture with all of the grandchildren!  I am so grateful for these pictures!
These were the chosen pictures for her funeral.  The first being when she started dating dad.  The second her wedding day, and the third a more recent one depicting who she really was...an Oma who loved her grandchildren, a mom who loved her children, a wife who loved her husband, a servant who loved her God, and an amazing soul who loved to capture memories of whomever she was with.  These 3 pictures are in my dad's house.  It's pretty hard to walk by them without a tear.
We love you mom, and miss you like crazy every...single...day!
