Everything FALL

First Day of the last year in their current schools.  Kadan, Grade 12, heading into his last year of school as we know it!  He's pretty darn excited.  Zach and Abby heading into Grade 8, serving as leaders in their school, preparing themselves for a whole new world of high school.

Tree Top Trekking - what a super fun day!  Not far from us, at the Binbrook Conservation Area, this awesome obstacle course made for some great fun.  There was a super-mini practice run, then 5 obstacles to get through in three hours.  Each course gets harder and harder.  The 5th one is locked.  In order to do that one, you have to pass the first 4 and sign your life away before trying it.  😅
Each course had a mix of aerial games - with wooden bridges, balance cables, net walkways, ziplines, and more.
It was really busy the day we went.  The group in front of us was there more for the selfies than the course itself.  We stood in line waiting quite a long time for course 4.  The staff came along and asked if we wanted to skip 4 and go straight to 5 (said she had been watching us and believed we could do it) because if we kept waiting for the group in front of us we would run out of time.  So we did....and great choice.  It took about 40 minutes to get through the course.  The zipline at the end is pretty long...love this face!
We didn't get to do 4 at all as we still ran out of time, so they quickly did 2 or 3 again.
This sign is the start of course 5.  We had to climb sideways over all of the letters.  ha!
Highly recommended!  Great family time!

Happy Halloween!  Abby and the friends on the street all dressed up to represent different decades.  Abby dressed for the 1970s.

All 5.
NO words....
Zach...not quite sure what he is - ha! ha!
Our favourite dalmatians' next door!
Another great night catching up with neighbours.  My favourite part of Halloween!
