This year the boys continued with Kim in piano and Zach and Abby joined a program called MYC (Music for Young Children). All of them learned so much and came so far in just a year! One of the things Zach and Abby learned was how to 'compose' a piece of music. Their task was to create 4 bars of music: with a title, time signature, key signature, dynamics, the whole nine yards. They both spent weeks learning how to play their compositions and then proudly played their pieces at the end of the year concert (the only ones who played their own compositions - so this momma was a little proud =) I didn't actually video at the concert as I was up at the piano for moral support. So we video taped one day after church.

A few weeks later, Kadan and Brady played at their concert and did an awesome job as well!
At the end of the year, Brady tried his first exam! What amazing results!
I'm not sure how long music will last, but it makes my heart melt listening to all of them creating and playing music!
