Our meeting with CAS this past Friday was great! The more we read through and discussed the profile of these two little boys, the more Ryan and I were convinced that this was God's open door (although we are not sure yet if this is the only opened door). An hour and a half later when the discussion was nearing the end, we then saw pictures. Both of us looked at each other and knew there was no more to discuss. We had the weekend to discuss and pray things through, but as we were driving out of the CAS driveway we knew that these were the kids! So as you may well imagine we had a bit of troubles sleeping and focusing this past weekend as the excitement grew. We couldn't however call until today (Tuesday) to give CAS our answer. So we made the call and things are moving quickly. The two boys are Brady (5 at the end of June) and Kaden (2 and a half). The plan so far is to meet them on the 18th and/or the 19th. We then start getting to know them and visit for a couple of weeks aiming for a placement for the beginning of July! Hum....basement, bunkbeds, and the 'v' word...van. So after reports cards (for those of you who are teachers or have been around us for enough report cards you totally understand) then full speed ahead to finish the basement and set up their room. We are overjoyed, and so grateful for the overwhelming support in the last 3 or 4 days alone! Thank you all for your continued prayers and for sharing this exciting time with us. Please pray in the next couple of weeks that we are able to connect with Brady and Kaden and that it will be an easy transition for them.
